Currently, there are no impacts to South Florida and the Florida Keys tidal shoreline and beaches. Our shores are clear and open for business.
The latest report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, July 2, 2010: "The current risk (of oil in the Keys) is so low that NOAA suspended production of its daily offshore trajectory tracks. Tracks will resume if necessary and officials don’t know how long the Loop Current will remain separated. "
